Abstract:
Objective: Using blood oxygenation level dependent functional magnetic resonance imaging and brain magnetic resonance imaging three-dimensional structure of excessive lying behavior antisocial personality disorders (antisocial personaility disorder, APD) in the lying brain activation patterns and associated with the nerve lying contact, and no excess of such people and lying behavior of APD between patients and normal brain function and the existence of significant differences in brain structure.
Methods: 17 patients meet DSM-IV diagnosis of excessive lying behavior of untreated male patients with APD, 18 patients without excessive lying behavior of untreated male patients with APD and 19 normal men, using the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory evaluation, three groups in age, gender, IQ and educational level of the match. Application of the three groups for 1.5T MRI scan and three-dimensional structure like in the real presentation, misrepresentation and lying in a functional task such as scanning. Use of behavioral data SPSS13.0 software analysis. fMRI data using SPM2 software analysis, comparing three groups in three conditions, differences in brain activation patterns. Analysis of three-dimensional structure as voxel-based morphology, compared three groups of differences in brain gray matter structures.

Compared with the control group, APD, APD lying group left cerebellum and right temporal gyrus (BA39, 21) of gray matter density decrease.
Conclusion: 1. Lying and the real difference between the cognitive fMRI can detect differences in neural connections, a true expression of inhibition may be cheating the main component of the prefrontal neural circuits is to deceive the basic ingredients. 2. There are too many acts of antisocial personality disorder lying people, lying in the brain has its unique activation patterns, mainly for the precuneus, dorsolateral prefrontal, cingulate gyrus and increased activation of the cerebellum may be The behavior of too many lying neuropathological basis. 3. Without too much lying behavior of antisocial personality disorder lies in the implementation of the task compared with the normal brain activation patterns are basically the same. Shows two groups lying areas of the brain activation patterns when no differences in anti-social groups and the heterogeneity of the normal population lying under the brain areas activated for no apparent impact. Antisocial personality disorder is not in itself lead to http://www.999magnet.com/ activation of brain regions lying under the unusual task of reason. 4. Antisocial personality disorder may exist in brain anatomy and lying on the neural circuits related to abnormal behavior, including the dorsolateral prefrontal - cingulate gyrus - precuneus - temporal lobe - abnormal cerebellar circuit, which may be antisocial personality disorder neurological pathology.
