Study on DSP-Based Direct Torque Control System of PMSM
Direct Torque Control(DTC) was first proposed in 1980s by Takahashi and Depenbrock respectively, this new control theory was improved to be a great success when induced on inductance motor because of its feature of excellent dynamic property and simple construction. Neodymium Magnets The first transducer adopting DTC technology was developed by ABB which win DTC fame of next generation AC drive technology. Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor(PMSM) has the property of high power density, high efficiency and high control ability, so it is widely used in AC drive which makes it one of the most potential motor. Combining the DTC and PMSM is becoming a focus of researchers’at home and abroad. This paper makes deeply research on the PMSM-DTC strategy and its realization method on the basis of analyzing and concluding PMSM-DTC theory. This paper analyzes the fundamental theory of DTC in PMSM and yields the model of the combination of PMSM and DTC. Two control strategies that are switch table based and space vector modulation DTC and their simulation analyze are introduced on basis of the PMSM-DTC model.On the basis of overall control strategy, this paper gives the detail analyze of key points in PMSM-DTC and yields their effective solution. The key points of PMSM-DTC includes the estimation method of stator flux, the compensation method http://www.999magnet.com of stator resistance variation, the compensation method of inverter dead-time and the estimation method of rotor initial position. All the simulation result of justify the effective of the solutions.At last, the TMS320F2812DSP based experimental platform is developed to verify all the analyses and simulation results of the control strategy and its key points. The effectiveness of the control strategy adopted and superiority of the SVM-DTC control strategy are confirmed on the basis of analyzing and comparing the massive experimental result, at the same time, the merits that are quick toque dynamic property and low torque and flux ripple of SVM-DTC strategy are justified.
